“Celebrate TLC Meals on Wheels Community and Friends ~ 50 Years of Driving Away Hunger” for a fun, family event that includes games, food, bake sale, cake walk, and crafts. Admission is free!
- Colorado Rockies’ mascot Dinger will be making a special visit!
- Dinner for 6 prepared by Chef Jason Jones and Diane McClymonds, TLC MoW’s Executive Director in your home. Jason is a Cordon Bleu-trained chef and has worked in Los Angeles, Seattle, New York City, Austin, and Houston, where he’s from. He’s cooked for George and Barbara Bush, Dick Cheney, TLC MoW clients, AND maybe YOU! No charge to enter drawing.
- The Bull Radio station, 106.7 will be providing music and giving away t-shirts and other items.
- “Pick a Prize Raffle:” Purchase a ticket for $1 each. Place your tickets in the jars for the items you would like to win. Unlimited entries per item accepted.
TLC Meals on Wheels is an independent non-profit organization that has delivered hot meals to seniors in the south metro Denver area since 1968. From their humble beginnings in the kitchen of their founder, Virginia Baker, they have always seen their mission as delivering more than just a meal. Their comprehensive services and volunteer visits provide an important intangible benefit to their clients that the community genuinely cares about their seniors.
