Volunteer Opportunities!

Whether as an individual or part of a group, volunteers and community support make Western Welcome Week a success year after year. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available, including:

  • Office support — phones, filing, computer work, errands, and mailings
  • Pancake Breakfast — cooks, servers, bussers, and beverage servers
  • Silent Auction — setup, table monitors, checkout, and payment takers
  • Craft Fair — block captains and hospitality volunteers
  • And much more!

Become a volunteer by completing and submitting the Volunteer Participation Form to Western Welcome Week. Volunteer groups are always welcome!

Western Welcome Week Office Assistance — June through August 2026
Hours Can Be Flexible – Duties Include:
• Delivery of Event Flyers and Posters
• Delivery of Merchant and Resident Closure Letters
• Running Errands
• Event Preparation – August 7 – August 16, 2026  May Require Heavy Lifting
• Other Duties May Become Available
Western Welcome Week Pancake Breakfast — Sunday, August 9, 2026

Online Volunteer Application or the Pancake Breakfast  – Available in Late May 2026 

Location: Geneva Park (upper level between Geneva Lodge and the Littleton Center) – 2255 W Berry Ave.
Duty: Pancake Batter Makers
Shift: 7:00am to 9:30am OR 9:15am  to 11:45am

Duty: Pancake Flipper
Shift: 7:00am to 9:30am OR 9:15am to 11:45am

Duty: Sausage Cooker
Shift: 7:00am to 9:30am OR 9:15am to 11:45am

Duty: Food Runner
Shift: 7:00am to 9:30am OR 9:15am to 11:45am

Duty: Butter and Syrup Servers
Shift: 7:00am to 9:30am OR 9:15am to 11:45am

Duty: Coffee Captain
Shift: 7:00am to 9:30am OR 9:15am to 11:45am

Bruce Wolf Stick Horse Stampede — Sunday, August 9, 2026
Location: Geneva Park – Upper Level, 2255 W. Berry Ave.
Duties: Set up, Registration, Clean up
Shift: 8:30am – 11pm 
Taste of Western Welcome Week — Wednesday, August 12, 2026
Location: Littleton Center, 2255 W. Berry Ave.
Duties: Assist vendors with set up and clean up, monitor water and ice for vendors.
Shift: 5:30pm – 7:00pm or 6:45pm-8:30pm

Duties: Closing of event; take down tables, chairs, trash
Shift: 8:30pm-9:30pm

Silent Auction - part of the Taste of Western Welcome Week — Wednesday, August 12, 2026
Location: Littleton Center, 2255 W. Berry Ave.
Duties: Auction Table monitors, assist with the closing of the silent auction
Shift: 5:30pm – 7:00pm or 6:45pm-8:30pm 
Western Welcome Week Maker/Crafter Fair — Saturday, August 15, 2026
Location: Downtown Littleton – Main, Prince, Nevada, and Curtice Streets
Duties: Hospitality
Shifts: Coffee & Treats 7:00am to 8:30am

Shifts: Refreshments & Treats 1:00pm to 2:30pm

Duties: Tear Down – assist makers/crafters tear down booth, ensure streets are clear
Shifts: 3:30pm to 5:30pm

Western Welcome Week Private VIP Room — Saturday, August 15, 2026
Location: Town Hall Arts Center – Stanton Art Gallery – 2450 West Main Street
Duties: Room/Food Setup – Room Food Take Down

Shifts: Set up 8:30am – 10:30am – Take Down 3:30pm – 5pm
Duties: Monitor Room
Shifts: 10:30am – 1:30pm
Shifts: 1:30pm – 4:30pm

Western Welcome Week Grand Parade — Saturday, August 15, 2026
Location: Parade Staging area – northwest corner of Library Lane and Gallup
Duties: Set up registration area. Check alphabetical listing of parade registrations, mark that the entry has checked in and give them their parade number and direct them to the proper sector that they are to lineup in. Staging volunteers are available on the parade route to help direct entries to their location.
Shifts: 6:30am – 10am
Brad & Mary Bradford Memorial Duck Race — Sunday, August 16, 2026
Location: War Memorial Rose Garden 5804 S Bemis St.
Duties: Help Setting Up and Taking Down the Duck Race in Little’s Creek
Shifts: 11am set up;  3pm take down
Scout Troops, student groups, faith groups, etc., all welcome!
