Watch a trained hawk swoop past you and get up close to a Falcom, owl, and the majestic bald eagle. Hear about the fascinating lives of these native birds of prey. Participants should bring a blanket or low lawn chairs to sit on, a camera, and clothes for being outdoors. All ages welcome. Cost is $10 per adult and $5 children under 18. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a registered adult.
“Birds of prey are absolutely beautiful animals,” says Kin Quitagua, director of Hawkquest of their non-releasable birds. “We use our birds as a tool to help people understand and connect with nature in Colorado.”
